Yummy banana bread recipe

Something about baking bread from scratch, just makes me feel like a better mother.  I've had this recipe forever and it's a tried and true.  It is perfect with a spot of your favorite tea. Mine is Trader Joe's Pomegranate White Tea. Happy Monday to all.

                                         
                                                                 Banana Bread Recipe

3 medium ripe bananas
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c flour
1/4 c melted butter
1tsp slat
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 c nuts (optional)


Mash bananas and mix in sugar,egg & butter. Add your dry ingredients and mix till well combined.  Spray your bread pan. Pour in mixture and bake for 1 hour at 325 or until a tester comes out clean. Add your choice of spread...butter, cream cheese, jam and enjoy

Just a few of my Goals for 2012

I've never done this before. This whole making of goals thing is new for me  but this post from a beautiful mess got me motivated http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/11/28-before-29-a-goal-list-.html

I thought this was a great idea so I've made a list of my own. So here's my top 10 to get me started.

1- Participate in an art show.

2- Make a dress for myself.

3- Post on my blog weekly

4- Start a group blog with my sisters.

5- Invest in a business e-course

6- Steam line my homeschooling schedule

7- Set up an etsy account

8- Start a creative journal

9- Make a product to sell in my etsy shop

10- Go green and make all natural cleaning products.

That pretty much covers most of the bases that I'm involved in.  I already have a couple in the works. Make a list yourself, keep it posted where you can see it regularly and go for it. Make a better year for yourself.

I love seeing all my paper displayed.

It's a work in progress but it's exciting to see it evolve.

Our first family picture in 10 years

It's amazing how time flies when you have children. Things are categorized into events that happened before children and after children. I love this picture. It was from my sister in laws wedding a couple if months ago. Seeing it will keep me on my toes for the upcomming year to make more pictures. I hope you do the same.
