My much loved first crochet pillow

I was able to make this little pillow entirely out of scrap yarn....

 

                                             And it was much loved by my eldest daughter.

My moccasin obsession

I recently purchased a pair of green leather moccasins from the thrift store and I'm dying to revamp them. I spotted these from the red velvet store and they have me totally inspired. http://shopredvelvet.com/collections/fashion/products/darlingtonia-foxy-moccasins I want to do my own version of these. My father will be visiting us next week and he has some skills in leather work, so I'm excited to see what little leather project we can come up with to do together.

Ohhh Nigella....if only I could cook like you.

Combine a gorgeous physique with an unabashed love of food and you have Nigella Lawson. I absolutely love to watch her show "Nigella Feasts". My favorite part is at the end of the show when she grabs her midnight snack without apology. I wish I could be like that. I printed off a couple of recipes that I can't wait to try. I will keep you posted if I have any success.
